Flash Remoting コンポーネントが Flash MX 2004 のリリース後程なく公開されましたが、こちらはActionScript v1.0対応。Flash MX 2004 で導入された新しい、データアーキテクチャからは仲間はずれでした。しかし、Flash MX 2004 のFAQ にあるとおり、近日中に、ActionScript v2.0 対応のFlash Remoting Component がリリースされる嵐閧ﾅす。WebServiceConnector や XMLConnector と並び、新しいアーキテクチャのデータバインディングが使えるのはいいことです。

Macromedia is dedicated to supporting Flash Remoting in the future. Macromedia is in a final evaluation process for updating the Flash Remoting components to ActionScript 2.0 and providing other support for Flash Remoting in Flash MX 2004. Plans will be announced on the Flash Developer Center soon.
